Greetings from the President . . .
 
Summer is here and that means the 2008 annual conference is rapidly approaching! This annual conference will be a monumental event for KLA; because the Association of Research Libraries' (ARL) National Diversity in Libraries Conference and the Southeastern Library Association (SELA) and will join KLA and KSMA. The theme for the conference is "Spectrum of the Future," and for the first time in KLA history, the four library associations will join together on October 1-4, 2008, in Louisville, Kentucky at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. Several people are working very hard to make this conference a success and I would like to thank everyone for their support thus far. President-Elect and Conference Planning Chair Debbe Oberhausen and her committee have planned a wonderful event.
